My husband and I had dinner at Pickle Mama's Saturday night and, as always, the food and service were excellent. My scampi pasta was delicious and my husband loved his lavender pork chop. I'm not a huge salad fan but their homemade white French salad dressing inspired me to consume every last leaf of lettuce. Before you are seated at your table, take a spin through the market/bakeshop. The cakes are true works of art. We opted for a chocolate ganache brownie--two kinds to choose from, praline and one without nuts--we had one of each. I am a true chocolate aficionado and I can say categorically, the brownie was the absolute best I've ever tasted. Too full for dessert? No problem, your waitress will bring your boxed-up dessert to your table to take home for private consumption. Best of all, this dining establishment is five minutes away. But, even if you have a longer drive, it's worth it!
Delicious food!!! Unique menu. Our group enjoyed everything! The special was crab cakes and they were so good!!! Big pieces of crab!!! Delish!!! Sautéed chicken with spinach and onions!! Very good, too!!! My friend had the salmon and loved it!!! Desserts were good, too!! Carrot cake, chocolate cake and cream puff!!
I didn't know what really good food was until I ate here. We were so used to eating at chain restaurants. This night was special, a birthday, and I wanted a special treat for my wife. We both had the stuffed salmon. Oh my gosh, it melted our mouths. So delicious. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, was so good. From the house salad with creamy balsamic dressing, to the homemade bread with sweet butter, the salmon, the veggies, the gigantic piece of chocolate-peanut butter birthday cake... It was a night to remember. The restaurant is beautiful, the manicured grounds are beautiful, the service was professional, yet personal and tailored to our night. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Took the family to Pickle Mama's for our weekly family dinner. I've driven past this restaurant before and I wondered what it was like. Upon arrival, we were greeted and given our choice of table or booth to sit in. I love the privacy of booths, so that's what I opted for. Our waiter arrived and took our drink orders. The family didn't want an appetizer, but I wanted to try their deep fried pickles, so I ordered them. I perused the menu and decided to order chicken marsala and an adult vanilla milkshake, which was served with Kahlua! Yum! My milkshake was really tasty. Then the fried pickles arrived. My kids refused to taste them, but my wife ate a few. She doesn't like pickles much. I really liked the deep fried pickles so I polished them off. A little while later, dinner arrived. My chicken marsala was moist, tender, and delicious. I would order it again. My daughter ordered smoked, braised brisket, which was delicious also. My wife ordered a steak, which again, was delicious. The meals was terrific and I would definitely visit again.
What a great experience at Pickle Mama's! We had top notch service from start of finish. Our server, Madi was simply the best- she was patient and kind with our one year old daughter and provided stellar service. Our meals were great- we will be back!
